MEREDITH BEAN McMATH

McMath is an author, prize-winning playwright, award-winning historian and the Director of Run, Rabbit, Run Productions, Inc. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Arts Administration at Shenandoah University, she is the former Founding Artistic Director of Aurora Studio Theatre, Inc. and a former Round Hill Arts Center Program Director.   Her articles have appeared in The Washington Post Loudoun Extra, élan Magazine, The Piedmont Virginian and elsewhere. McMath's plays have been produced from Texas to the Philippines, one of her documentaries appeared several times on The History Channel, and her living history plays have been commissioned by and produced for organizations which include the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History, the Newseum (at Rosslyn), and the National Trust's Oatlands Plantation. 

Since 1989, McMath has provided marketing and promotion services for Loudoun arts organizations and events, including the Hillsboro Concert Series, the Growing Stage, Not Just Shakespeare, Hill Playhouse, the Tally Ho Theatre, Run, Rabbit, Run Theatre, Aurora Studio Theatre, The Round Hill Arts Center, and, more recently, Loudoun Lyric Opera; she has also provided programming and marketing services to The Loudoun Museum, Oatlands Plantation, The Lincoln Preservation Foundation, and a few local businesses and community organizations.  McMath serves on the Boards of Directors of The Loudoun Lyric Opera and The Hillsboro Community Association and is a member of the Hillsboro Planning Commission.  For more information, visit www.storyroot.com.
